Tommy's Dutch Lunch

Horrible service, they were distracted and running all over the place, we often had to stop the waitress and ask them for something. The hash browns were practically shredded potatoes, and it seems as if they left the pancakes till they seemed cooked. Honestly, do the Dutch like undercooked food? I don't recommend this place at all. It's also very small, cramped and loud, there was also this door that the employees kept opening, which made the small place cold.

I've come to Tommy's many times since I first found it as a teenager. The food always hits the spot and the portions do not disappoint. They've been consistently excellent in the nearly 30 years since I first went. The only downside for me is the limited parking, limited seating, and limited hours. If you are willing to plan your morning though, this place is worth it without a doubt!

This is dinner is the best! I have been coming here, since I was a young chap. It is one of my favorite places. It is definitely something I would recommend!

I only go there for the best breakfast in the valley.. I guess next time I go I'll get the burgers... the one with the mushrooms swiss looked delicious.

You cannot put a price on the service and the environment created by the waitress (name starts with a "V") this morning with not only myself but with every customer she interacted with. I couldn't afford a tip this morning so I figured the least I could do was tell the wor world about this atmosphere. And there are no words that explain how great the food was. Thank you Tommy's and "V".

Hadn't been here in quite a few years. Place was really busy but waitstaff was on top of it. Food was good and hot but hashbrowns were very greasy and I got the smallest eggs I've ever had for breakfast. Overall a great experience and will be back based on the great service!

Awesome food and service. Would be nice if they were in Hermiston, but will be back most definitely and will bring my grandpa. Keep up the good work.

Amazing meat lover omelet. Diner environment of days long ago. A throw back to when breakfast was an experience not just a meal. I love it and now have a new favorite breakfast establishment.

Good breakfast menu. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Nice waitstaff - attentive, but not trying to rush you out the door.

Always great food! The new owner has done nothing but improve this place! The only downside is sometimes there's a wait but it's also a small restaurant hopefully they'll expand soon!

Very cute little place with a fun story. Food is a breakfast dream with so many options and even better service to go with it. Although it is no 5 star luxury breakfast resort. The comfort and home like features make it just as nice and an even better option in my opinion. But dont just take mine. Try it out for yourself! Recommended to all.

Service was great, staff was friendly, and food was good. Pancakes weren't the style we liked but the omelet and country fried steak were great! The 7 yr old definitely recommends it!

Came from Tricities, hands down the best breakfast I've ever had, Had chicken fried steak eggs toast....recommended it big time worth the drive....restaurant was built in 1934 has alot of charm...very happy....

Just a good little small town diner. They can be quite busy some times so you can be expected to wait. The have good portions for a decent price. I personally like their chicken fried steak with eggs and house potatoes. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Hubby took me for my 1st visit! A morning date. I ordered the number 7. We split it oh, okay I ate most of it. They kept her coffee cups full in spite of the crowd. We sat at the counter invested with kitchen staff. 4 people kept the whole place hopping. They said it was not busy at all for them. Every seat was full a couple takeout orders and tons of regulars. Hubby had gone there for the first time in 1962 as a middle schooler with his dad. He ordered a patty melt then and learned what it was. Quite the nostalgic morning. Every one in the place seemed happy. Most people knew everyone by name. We were treated royally and look forward to another visit. Thank you Tommy's Dutch lunch!

Well i brought my 2 year old not knowing just how small this cute little old school breakfast/lunch house was. We did have to wait which was fine it was a Saturday morning. The server we had was extremely nice, efficient and more then understanding with my son. The Owner himself was going around and pre-bussing and cleaning for his servers. He was a very kind man. The food was great (just a bacon and eggs breakfast) but none the less still great. Thanks for the great food and service keep up the great team work.
